Adele has apologised to fans after having to postpone the dates of her Las Vegas residency.
Adele fans who wanted to attend the Las vegas residency in 2022 needed to be double vaccinated to attend.
A notice on the Ticketmaster website stated that the event organiser is requiring all attendees to be fully vaccinated (14 days past their final vaccination shot) and also have received a negative Covid-19 test within 48 hours of the event.
Due to Covid 19 havoc her string of Las Vegas shows cancelled just days before her residency was due to begin on Friday 21 January 2022.
The star told fans in a tearful update on Instagram. “Half my team has Covid and it’s been impossible to finish the show,” she said, adding that “delivery delays”.
The last-minute cancellation left many fans double vaccinated and out of pocket after spending thousands on tickets and plane fares to see her onstage.
four months later, Adele and her team have yet to provide ticket-holders with an update on the postponed shows, despite the singer vowing to reschedule the dates for some time this year.
With frustrations mounting, fans are using social media to call out Adele for seemingly leaving them in the dark, with many calling the months-long delay ‘bogus’ and ‘diva-like.’
